The park contains a 22-acre off-leash dog park, a 3-acre small dog area, that includes an accessible parking area, and nearly a mile of hard surface walking trails through restored prairie. The 18-hole disc golf course was designed by local experts and traverses through open prairies and a glacial drumlin that is currently being restored to oak savanna. The course can also be accessed via the Capital City State Trail, with bicycle parking available at a trailhead that includes interpretive signage for a Native American mound group located nearby.
