Dane County Parks has campsites that can be reserved for tents, campers, and RVs. All campsite reservations include a complimentary daily dog permit good for the duration of your stay. Please visit our Dogs in Parks page for more information about this permit.

Dane County offers campsites at five different parks. Each campground has an accessible site and offers electric sites. Campsite check in begins at 3:00 p.m. the first day of the reservation and check out is no later than 3:00 p.m. on the last day of the reservation. There is a maximum of 6 people and one tent or RV per campsite.

Reserve a Campsite
Group campsites are larger, rustic (pit toilets and water) areas where a larger group of campers may camp together. Reservations are required. There is no minimum stay requirement but there is a maximum stay of 14 days. Group campsites are popular with youth groups and family/friend events. Please contact the Parks Office at (608) 224-3730 to make a group campsite reservation.
