The cool stuff that’s really hot. Many conservation organizations use prescribed fire as a management tool. During this session, young people will learn the basics of fire ecology, safety considerations, and how crews prepare sites ahead of a controlled burn. Participants will assist with appropriate burn unit preparation tasks.
