Dane County Parks grants Special Access Permits for individuals with disabilities who request reasonable accommodations to use park facilities. Permits may be issued for single day needs, such as driving a vehicle to an overlook for an older family member, or for full seasons, such as accessing a hunting location by driving on a trail or lane within a wildlife area.
Because each request is unique, please submit this form describing your specific needs. Parks staff may follow up with additional questions before issuing a permit. Please allow up to two weeks for processing. Permits will be sent via email and must be signed and returned before they are valid. A hard copy of the special access permit must be carried while in the park and shown upon request by Dane County Parks staff or other park users.
