Lower Mud Lake Restoration Work Days

Join us in restoring two oak woodlands at Lower Mud Lake Natural Resource Area, one of which is home to a Native American mound. Now that we have conquered the summer invasive weeds, we are moving on to invasive tree and shrub removal. Sawyers and haulers both needed.

Sawyers should bring their own equipment. Fuel and bar oil provided. Haulers do not need prior experience. Equipment, gloves, and safety gear provided.

Please dress for the weather in layers. Long pants, sturdy shoes, and hats recommended. Sunscreen and bug spray may be needed. Please bring your own water bottle.  A mid morning snack will be provided.
