Event Description
Enjoy the outdoors, learn about the natural world, and forge new friendships by joining the Friends of Donald Park on a restoration workday. This fall and winter, we'll begin a new restoration project by clearing invasive species from oak woodland sites. We work in teams and no experience is necessary. Please arrive at 9:45 am to check in.
What to wear: Old clothes, sturdy shoes, and garden or leather gloves if you have them. (We have some to lend out.)
What to bring: Please bring water. We will provide tools and cookies.
RSVP to the work party leader, Liz McBride, at elizabeth-mcbride@sbcglobal.net by the Friday before the workday so we have enough tools and she can reach you if weather forces to cancel.
