Tenney Lock Hours Extended for Labor Day Weekend

Dane County Tenney Boat Lock hours will be extended for the upcoming Labor Day weekend beginning Friday, Sept. 2nd through Monday, Sept. 5th. Labor Day is traditionally a very busy weekend for boating on the Yahara Chain of Lakes as the summer vacation season unofficially comes to an end.
 

The Tenney Lock is a popular recreation facility accommodating approximately 8-10 thousand boaters annually. Located on the Yahara River the lock allows for the passage of boats between Lake Mendota and Lake Monona.
 

The extended schedule is as follows:
 

Friday 9/2                                11:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Saturday 9/3                             10:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Sunday 9/4                              10:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Monday 9/5                             10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
