Mushroom Inoculation Workshop

Come out to the park and learn about mushroom culture! Prepare your own oak log with Shiitake inoculant for $20 OR pick up an oak log pre-inoculated with Shiitake inoculant for $30. All materials provided.

In order to offer a positive and efficient experience for group work, we will be scheduling participants for specific times each day. The process will take about 30 minutes.

Two inoculation stations are set up in the North Shed for buyers (4 per hour) to inoculate logs harvested from Silverwood's woods. Or buyers purchase pre-inoculated logs that Volunteers (4 per hour) prepare. Stonehouse bathrooms for Volunteers only and Porta Potty available to buyers.
