Restoration work at Silverwood County Park

Join the Friends of Silverwood County Park on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.pm. to help them remove invasive species from the woods. Tasks could include assisting the chain sawers (must be certified for this task) and pile brush, etc. When there's enough snow on the ground we burn these piles. Dress for the weather. Wear sturdy boots and work gloves. Meet at the parking lot. We will get supplies from the South Shed and decide where in the woods we'll work and driving on the lanes to it.
