Aluminum Cast and Mold Workshops with Felion Studios and Friends of Schumacher Farm Park!

We are very excited to be partnering with Felion Studios to offer 2 workshops to make creations that will be poured at Heritage Fest on September 11th! Tools & materials are provided for the entire design and sculpting process. Ticket priced include all materials, tools and final casting with molten aluminum at Heritage Fest. Both workshops take place in the Center for Rural History at Schumacher Farm County Park. Beginners to professional artists welcome - no previous experience is necessary! Children age 8 and up are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Price is per mold.

1. Clay Making Workshop, August 24, 2022 5pm-8pm: Learn how to create a clay relief sculpture with your hands using a variety of texture rollers, and clay tools. Participants will be guided through the steps needed to finish a radically unique clay creation fit for sand molding and aluminum casting. Max. 20 participants.
2. Sand Carving Workshop, September 9, 2022 6pm-8pm: Learn how to use special tools to carve ideas and designs into prepared blank sand molds. Participants will be guided throughout the entire process to create their own unique sand carving that will be fit for aluminum casting. Max. 45 participants.
